☛Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the educational landscape, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students succeed. As a Senior Student Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and support to students throughout their educational journey.
☛Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive counselling to students on educational opportunities and career pathways.
Assist students in the application process for local and international institutions.
Conduct detailed assessments of students’ academic backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs and institutions.
Organize and lead information sessions, workshops, and seminars for students and parents.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the consultancy’s service offerings.
Collaborate with educational institutions and industry partners to build and maintain strong relationships.
Mentor and support junior counsellors, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
☛Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and international educational systems.
Proven track record of successfully guiding students through the application process.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
