☛Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Student Counsellor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the educational landscape, excellent interpersonal skills, and a passion for helping students succeed. As a Senior Student Counsellor, you will play a pivotal role in providing expert advice and support to students throughout their educational journey.
☛Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive counselling to students on educational opportunities and career pathways.
- Assist students in the application process for local and international institutions.
- Conduct detailed assessments of students’ academic backgrounds and career aspirations to recommend suitable programs and institutions.
- Organize and lead information sessions, workshops, and seminars for students and parents.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of educational trends, admission requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance the consultancy’s service offerings.
- Collaborate with educational institutions and industry partners to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Mentor and support junior counsellors, providing guidance and professional development opportunities.
☛Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the Nigerian and international educational systems.
- Proven track record of successfully guiding students through the application process.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and student management systems.
