What is the Difference Between OIETC and ELLT?

OIETC, which stands for Oxford International English Test Centre, was the earlier version of what is now called the ELLT. The ELLT, or English Language Level Test, measures how well a student understands and uses English. It gives a score based on 13 levels, created by the Oxford International Digital Institute, to show a student’s English language ability.

    The Test Module of ELLT

Like the IELTS, there are four modules in the ELLT, such as Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. The reading and listening tests are done at the same time. After that, the writing test will be taken. Lastly, there will be a speaking test to measure students’ speaking fluency in English.

How to Get the Result of the ELLT Exam?

Here we will learn about the assessment system for this. As we know, the online English level test has four elements. The reading and listening test will be done altogether. Then there will be a writing test. After that, a professional English trainer will take the oral test at the most suitable time for you.

The reading test will be conducted through 2 comprehension with high AI security. The test duration of the reading test is 40 minutes. In the listening section, there will be 2  audio tracks that take 25 minutes to complete.

In the writing part, there will be opinion-based essay-type questions. After completing the task, you will directly deliver your answer sheet to the examiner. It will take 60 minutes to complete.

The speaking test will consist of three different stages and will be taken by the same trainer at the most suitable time for you. It will take 20 minutes to complete.

All parts of this English test will be taken online. Your score will be mailed to you just after the test.
