Donald Trump won the US presidency again against Kamala Harris. Vice President Kamala Harris called on her supporters to accept the results of the 2024 presidential election and promised a peaceful transfer of power after Donald Trump’s victory. In a concession speech on Wednesday, Harris also pledged to continue the “fight that drove this campaign.”

Former President Donald Trump’s win in the US presidential election was strongly supported by his victory in several “blue wall” states, which usually vote Democrat.
“Trump seems to have broken through the blue wall, or at least enough of it, to win the presidency,” said David Schultz, an author and political science professor at Hamline University in Minnesota.
As the Electoral College map slowly turned red after polls closed and votes were counted, many observers thought it might be a “red mirage.” This happens because more Republicans (shown in red) tend to vote in person, while more Democrats (shown in blue) often vote by mail.
However, once Trump reached 270 Electoral votes, Democrats’ hopes of catching up faded, even in the early stages of counting.
According to the New York Times, Donald Trump won the US presidency by 86 votes against Kamala Harris.
